Business Intelligence Analyst

AudienceScience, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Business Intelligence Analyst within the Audience Marketplace team. This individual will be responsible for delivering world-class customer reporting and insights to key strategic clients and partners of AudienceScience. They’ll be responsible for conceiving and designing new reports to add to our offering, managing the ongoing production and delivery of reports to customers, and ensuring that AudienceScience maintains an industry-leading position when it comes to customer reporting and insights.

Responsibilities:

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for accomplishing the objectives and responsibilities outlined below:

  • Working closely with our account management team to gain clear understanding of campaign dynamics and advertiser goals and needs.
  • Assessing advertiser needs and determining the right reporting components for their campaigns.
  • Interfacing with technical and operations resources to coordinate running of reports and production of reporting components such as tables, charts, and graphs.
  • Analyzing reporting results and writing comments to point out key metrics and explain the relevance of reporting to clients.
  • Compiling all appropriate reporting components and language into a well formatted reporting package that can be presented to a client.
  • Working with the account management team to field questions and explain reporting to clients.
  • Facilitating the process for initiating and running brand studies on campaigns via third party partners.

Ensuring the highest level of quality in the customer-facing product will be critical to the success of this role. There is great opportunity to shape the role and add value to the business by creating impactful client-facing solutions. The position will report to the Audience Marketplace Director.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong business writing and communication skills are essential
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience in working with reporting packages such as Cognos, Tableau, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, etc. would be beneficial.
  • Positive attitude and desire to contribute in a team environment
  • Studies in marketing, business, statistics, and/or psychology would be beneficial
