Sales Assistant West
AudienceScience, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant within the Advertiser Sales team. Reporting to the Director of Sales for the West, the successful candidate’s primary responsibility is to support the outside sales teams.
Responsibilities:
The Sales Assistant is responsible for accomplishing the objectives and responsibilities outlined below:
- Inputting sales proposals into MediaVisor/Atlas
- Assisting sales team with developing sales proposals; extensive use of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Processing expense reports for individual sales reps
- Travel planning/booking
- Data input into Salesforce
- Salesforce reporting- including pipeline reports
- Salesforce mailings- customized communications to existing and potential customers
- Ad Database reporting- assist sales team in prospecting and identifying appropriate contacts at targeted client companies
- Assist with pre-sales call research utilizing programs such as Ad Relevance
- Setting up arrangements for client meetings, client education sessions, etc.
- Liaison between marketing and sales to coordinate high profile agency events
- Liaison between billing and sales to handle discrepancies/collections
Requirements/Skills:
- 2-5 years experience as administrative assistant and/or office management
- Strong office and organizational skills
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft word processing and graphics programs, including MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented
- Customer service oriented
- Familiarity with sales programs such as Salesforce and other database programs
- Experience in the media industry a plus
