Business Listings Site Offers Unique Combination of Behavior and Geographic Targeting for Local and National Businesses
NEW YORK (April 6, 2006) — Revenue Science, Inc., the global standard in behavioral targeting, announced today that WhitePages.com has selected the company to provide behavioral targeting capabilities that will enable advertisers to utilize high impact display ads, reaching people who are actively searching for local and national businesses, both during their initial search and subsequent visits. This agreement makes WhitePages.com the first business listings site that will enable this type of behavioral targeting.
WhitePages.com will offer flexible and customizable behavior-based segments ranging from broad, interest-based categories, such as "people who have recently searched travel related business listings," to more narrowly defined segments, such as "people who searched for a travel agent and a car rental company." In order to further refine local marketing efforts, advertisers will be able to overlay geographic city, state, ZIP and keyword targeting on behavior-based segmentation of targeted audiences.
